Cold Water Fishing (Trout and Salmon)

New Hampshire and Maine continue to offer some of the best Landlocked Salmon and Trout fishing in the country.  Agencies and biologists from both states have worked tirelessly to manage their fisheries for quantity and quality of native and stocked fish.  From Lake Winnipesaukee in NH to the famous Kennebago Lakes of Rangeley, Maine, our instructors and guides have hundreds of hours of research on these waters and will teach you techniques and tricks that will increase your ability to consistently catch trophy fish.

This is a full day class and begins before sunrise at 5:15 a.m. at the boat docks on Winnipesaukee.  We climb aboard a 22′ Bennington pontoon boat and quickly launch and set up the downriggers, lead core lines, and fly rods to catch the morning bite for Lake Trout and Landlocked Salmon.  Throughout the day we will discuss target species, equipment, bait, lures, and techniques.  As with all of our classes, we strive to give you the best possible knowledge by showing you how to put that knowledge to work in the field and on the waters.  Hands-on experience is the key to your success!

You will learn:
